Month in Review
I had the honor to travel to the Philippines for a month-long mission trip to serve and to love on the Filipinos! It was an absolutely wonderful experience! First and foremost, I love traveling and learning about and experiencing a new culture. I got to experience so much on the trip!
Here’s a little of what my team and I did:
- Held 4 worship conferences
- Created and conducted a 3-day youth conference
- Visited an orphanage
- Visited a Korean missionary kid school
- Kicked off a kids street ministry
- Led worship for church
- Visited “Cave City”
Beyond all these events, I built relationships with many teens. It was so cool to connect with them. Although their lives look a little different than mine, we all face the same situations in life. Same problems, different context. The Filipinos taught me a lot about giving, loving, and gratefulness. I will always have a piece of my heart in the Philippines!
